You can hear the bass guitar plainly during the guitar solo. The rest of the way it gets lost in the mix. If you heard it, it would sound kind of like a low register keyboard.

there was something so special and mesmerizing about music from this era, from the look, to the sound to the music videos, it was something only those from that generation had the fortune of experiencing.

Can you Imagine how better the band would sound without the synths?

Very lazy band name. Put some effort into creating the band name. These types of super groups rarely ever succeed.

Today Howarth is a major talent. Great voice and great song writer. If the music was based on talent, he would be better known

such an awesome song. such a brutally terrible mix. absolutely no bass! a thin, tepid mix. this is why this song did so poorly! if this was the presentation, with the muddy fricken mix and endless pointless lightning...thank god i didn't hear this first. but hey, the song is awesome. listen to a studio version. NEVER this atrocity. video producers should be ashamed. they hurt this band with this video release.

If you didn't have to look at this band it would be great music but the sheer amount of effort they're putting into posing as opposed to playing and they could be a lot better if you looked up poser in the dictionary these guys are going to be there

Me... listening to John Sykes still in 2024. "He" was "1987". I saw Whitesnake at Donnington "Monsters of Rock". All I remember is Vandenburg posing in the big hair blower and excruciatingly long Vai wanking sessions. They needed John. Slip of the Tongue album was... OK. But really, we were all there for 1987.

Let's not forget Tony Franklin on bass. These guys were GREAT live! I saw them here in Denver. King's X, followed by Blue Murder, headliner was Billy Squire. Squire should have been the opener LOL! I saw Tony Franklin live with The Firm also. Tony is one of the top crop bass players.

This song is the complete package. Talented musicians, great vocals and lyrics, and wonderful stage presence. Yet the label failed to give it any support because of the grunge music fad. John Sykes and Blue Murder deserved better.
